I took to my bed that night feeling dreadful, but I had bought a bottle of Riga Black Balsam with me. I sipped it all the next day, and went to the hotel Sauna before bed.<br />The next morning I rose early feeling fine - the cold had completely gone. Black Balsam is amazing stuff!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07154467600199850457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8659603536388494384.post-29615206147748428222018-10-17T16:53:04.057-07:002018-10-17T16:53:04.057-07:00The word "Kunze" means Mrs. and follows ...The word "Kunze" means Mrs. and follows the sir name in Latvian language. Therefore if the story is true It was invented by Mrs. Abraham. It's a common mistake in Latvian translation. They've looked into selling it but it would cost too much and it gets tricky with how you market it also. A pity, that. Definitely keen for a drink asap!!Journo101https://www.blogger.com/profile/09992481654654649462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8659603536388494384.post-40865162204679013282012-02-13T12:29:47.817-08:002012-02-13T12:29:47.817-08:00Hey! In Aus, we always used to hide well-meaning gifts of Balsams in the back of the liquor cupboard, destined never to be consumed.... but living here, I've kinda grown used to the taste. Have it with hot blackcurrant juice on a cold winter's day, and it really hits the spot (and goes straight to your head). So when are we going out for a drink? All this talk of balsams is makin' me thirsty...Mookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04696730691507593343noreply@blogger.com
